Subject: Western Pennsylvania Repeater Council Meeting Notes - October 19, 2008

The October 19, 2008 WPRC meeting was held at the 911 Building in Clarion, PA.
The meeting was called to order at 1330 by Chairman David Crise, N3GPM.
There were eight (8) members present: N3GPM, KE3EI, N3EJY, KR3P, N2EVA, W3CYO, N3XAR & N3WMV.

Mintues of previous meeting:
The minutes of the July meeting were read and corrections made as noted.
Motion to approve the minutes was made by Denny, N3EJY and seconded by Paul, N3WMV.

Treasurer Report:
Denny, N3EJY gave the following report:
Ending balance as of Jyuly 20, 2008 was $1035.23
Income from dues: $15.00
Disbursements: Ron N2EVA: $41.00 for postage
WPRC mailbox: $204.00
12 month money market CD: $1012.50
Balance: $805.23
Motion to approve the Treasurers report was made by Sam, W3CYO and seconded by Ron, N2EVA

Frequency Coordinator Report:
The frequency coordinators report was give by Joe, KR3P.
There were 39 items acted upon since the July meeting:
29 final coordinaton's, 3-WPA/22 other
0 Initial coordination's
3 proposed coordination's
7 voided (4 out of state)
1 OTA notifications
3 Denied (2 out of state)

Next Meeting:
The next WPRC meeting will be in Washington, PA on January 18, 2009
The April meeting will be held in Mercer, PA
The July meeting will be held in State College, PA

Election of Officers:
Vice-Chairman:
Denny, N3EJY nominated Phil, KE3EI
Joe, KR3P moved that the nominations be closed
Sam, W3CYO seconded the motion

Secretary:
Joe, KR3P nominated Ron, N2EVA
Paul, N3WMV moved that nominations be closed
Sam, W3CYO seconded the motion

The unanimous ballot was cast by the Secretary, N2EVA

Motion to adjourn was made at 1356 by Dave, N3GPM and seconded by Sam, W3CYO.
